In the case of Taj Mahal and Tea, the author is not only a fine storyteller, but an observant raconteur who brings to life the human nuances of Indian culture and community. Humour pathos, sincerity – the book has it and more. I can heartily recommend it.

I don’t want to give away too much, but the end of the book had me in tears… Are cute, funny travel books supposed to do that?
